The II Joint Meeting Évora-Extremadura on Mathematics is organized by the Department of Mathematics, School of Sciences and Technology at University of Évora (Portugal) and the Department of Mathematics of the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Extremadura (Spain).

This joint effort is part of a larger collaborative agreement between the Universities of Évora and Extremadura.

The first Joint Meeting took place on January 14th, 2016 at the University of Extremadura in Badajoz (http://matematicas.unex.es/2015/12/03/first-joint-meeting-evora-extremadura-on-mathematics/).

Some of the objectives of these meetings are to strengthen scientific collaboration and to promote doctoral student engagement under a recently signed agreement of a double-tutoring PhD degree in Mathematics.
